One of the perks of being a Noblesville IN family photographer is getting to meet really amazing families like the Bakers! There’s something special about being in this season of life where your kids are still so young and need you for everything. Daily life is full of highs and lows, but their little smiles and hugs make it all worth it.
The Baker family welcomed their son Shep while walking through the unimaginable…cancer. But despite it all, their little family is filled with so much joy. I can’t help but think their two precious little ones play a huge role in that.
From Aly…”Emerson is at such a fun age. She’s communicating so well now and feels more like a little adult instead of a baby. She loves to laugh, cuddle and talk. She’s energetic, loving and so gentle with her baby brother. Shep was born during a really difficult year when we were distracted by Andy’s cancer. He’s been the perfect baby through it all. So relaxed, calm, and happy.”
Aly and Andy are amazing parents and they love to be silly and have fun with their kids. I had no trouble documenting lots of giggles and genuine smiles from these four. We danced, laughed, gave lots of hugs, and made memories the Baker family will enjoy for years to come.
In addition to family portraits, I also love to get some of just mom and dad together without the kids. This is the perfect time to give the kids a break, let them have a snack, and soak up a few minutes as a couple. As parents, we rarely get the chance to be photographed as just a couple without our kids, and I think it’s such a great opportunity to highlight the love you still share as a couple! It’s important for your kids too!
For their family session, Aly chose to wear a gorgeous cream-colored dress from my studio wardrobe. We made sure to coordinate the rest of the family’s outfits prior to their session so that on the day of they had everything ready to go! I just love how beautiful their final portraits turned out, and hope you enjoy looking through some of my personal favorites!
