I am so excited to share this family photoshoot at The Village of West Clay in Carmel! It’s not one of the locations I usually shoot at but I loved it and cannot wait to go back. I also love that it was personal for this family and brought a lot of sentiment to their family session.

Mom and Dad really wanted to document their family in their new-to-them neighborhood in The Village of West Clay. We had so much fun hopping to different locations and exploring their neighborhood. The fountain made for a beautiful backdrop, the kids had fun playing in the leaves along the pond, and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful sunset to end their family session.

A Joyful Outdoor Family Session

Leaving this session, I was filled with so much joy. Not only did I have a lot of fun getting to know this family, I had the honor of witnessing them create lasting memories together in a place that has come to mean so much to them. But more importantly, we were able to take their memories and preserve them in a way that allows them to truly enjoy them. We designed a beautiful gallery wall for their living room and large statement frame for their entry way.

Years from now when the kids look back on their childhood and where they grew up, they’ll have these photos to look back on and that’s really special.
