Motherhood Session at Heritage Park at White River

The truth is, so much of our children’s childhood is made up of little moments. A handhold, a hug, a glance, a walk. Those moments, the seemingly mundane, are the moments we want to hold onto forever. This motherhood session at Heritage Park at White River was full of those little moments.

Abbey and her girls were so sweet together. I loved the time I got to spend getting to know them. Abbey is so gentle with her girls and I loved getting to see her in her element- motherhood. The girls explored the grounds at Heritage Park, taking the time to look at all the flowers and of course, dancing in their beautiful dresses from the client wardrobe.

I am so excited to have these three be collective members! This was our first of three sessions over the course of the next year. I cannot wait to see the girls grow and their little personalities unfold. Photos are so important to Abbey and I love that about her. She’s a heartfelt mama that is so kind and so sweet and her love for her girls is really beautiful to see (and photograph).

When I asked Abbey what she wanted most she said, “I would love at least one photo of us all smiling at the camera (seems impossible with 2 little ones)! I am just looking forward to having memories of me and my girls together that I can always cherish and look back on once they are older.”

I would say we nailed it!
